Wrockstock is a fan-run Wizard Rock event that showcases the best bands in Wizard Rock as well as bringing Harry Potter fans together to enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed, private setting.

This year will mark the fourth annual Wrockstock event, known formally as Wrockstock 2010: A Space Oddity, and informally as WS2010.

Our goal is to bring people together (and raise funds for charity) thru music, our love of Harry Potter, the friendships we form, the amazing power of nature and lots of fun. Most attendees and bands say that Wrockstock is the best time they ever had, and we hope you'll feel that way too!

We also make every attempt to donate much of our profits to a deserving charity, we've been successful in two of our three attempts, in 2007 and 2009.

In 2007, we gave $5000 to Andrew Slack to help expand and develop the Harry Potter Alliance and what they've accomplished since then has been truly inspiring. (www.thehpalliance.org)

In 2009, we donated another $500 to the HPA, as well as donating $6500 to St Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN. (www.stjude.org)

Everyone agrees that there is real magic created and felt during Wrockstock.

We feel that if people’s hearts and minds are open, their capacity for happiness and desire to do good in the world increases exponentially. Friendship and social acceptance are also directly related to one's happiness and potential to do good, so we hope that coming to Wrockstocker fosters that growth for all who attend.

At Wrockstock, we try to show everyone who attends the value of friendship and the need to do what’s right, as shown by Harry and his friends throughout the series. Just about everyone who has attended Wrockstock has said they felt that their hearts and minds had been refreshed, they were ready to do good and spread the love whenever the opportunity arose.

Our location will again be YMCA Trout Lodge in Potosi, MO. No one can deny that a huge part of the success of Wrockstock is the amazing location and service that Trout Lodge provides. A magical place unto itself, Trout Lodge has a long history of providing the opportunity for growth and fellowship for the young people of Missouri and it’s surrounding states. No place else on earth is like it. All the natural beauty that the state of Missouri has to offer can be found and enjoyed here… just a 90 minute drive from St Louis.



Trout Lodge has a lot of things in common with Hogwarts; the lake and surrounding mountains come to mind, as well as having a great big dining hall where everyone eats together since all your meals are included in your room cost.

There are dozens of activities included in your room and ticket price. There’s miles of hiking trails, the stables, the boathouse, bicycles you can borrow for the day. Or if you prefer, you can sit by any number of fireplaces in the Lodge's many lounge areas all day with a good book, check your email on your laptop with free wi-fi or challenge your roommates to a round of miniature golf.

As always, you never know when your favorite wizard rocker or even a friendly stranger will sit down at your table to share a meal with you. We all spend the entire weekend hanging out and having fun together as a family... it's impossible to be lonely at Wrockstock!



Wrockstock is also a great way to make new friends and reconnect with old ones. Our forums provide a safe place to get to know our staff and other Wrockstockers prior to the event, as well as being the place for the most up to date information.

We have attendees of all ages from across the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii)... but we've also had folks from England, Scotland, Wales, Canada, Germany and Norway, some of them more than once!

Our staff will do everything we can to make everyone's trip easy and safe.
