Airlines?

So my mom and I want to fly down from chicago, but we don't want to spend too much money.  Does anyone know what airlines have the best rates?

Southwest out of Midway to STL is usually pretty fairly priced.
Amtrak takes as long as it does to drive, but it's always about $70 or less per person roundtrip. The STL Amtrak station connects to the airport via light rail, so you could still catch the Knight Bus for the rest of the journey.

Lol thanks.  Yeah we were thinking about Amtrak but we wouldn't be able to get downtown to catch the earliest train which are in the mornings and my mom isn't too fond of the light rail.  My mom is going to wait till it gets a little closer to see if which airport can give us the better deal.  Ideally though, she wants to fly out from O'hare because it's closer, but we'll have to see, I'll let you know if we need anymore help :]
